Nestlé: organic growth still lagging.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has once again reviewed its organic growth forecast downwards for the year 2017 at the time of filing its half-year accounts.
It is set to come to the lower end of the spectrum of the range previously published of between 2% and 4%.
In terms of published figures, revenue (43 billion Swiss francs) is down 0.3%. Current operating income remains stable at 6.8 billion francs.
Finally, the group share of net income skyrocketed by 19.2% to 4.9 billion francs (1.58 francs per share), stemming from exceptional provisions made in the first half of 2016.
