Roche: to complete Spark acquisition today
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche said that it intends to complete the acquisition of Spark today after receiving approval from the US governement for the deal to go ahead.
Late on Monday Roche announced the closing of investigation and unconditional clearance by the FTC and expiration of Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period for the acquisition of the US gene therapy company.
After a month-long offer, Roche said it now owns approximately 60.4% of Spark's shares.
