Roche: agreement with US medical software maker Fortelinea
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss drugmaker Roche has signed a joint marketing agreement in the United States with medical software maker Fortelinea, the companies said on Thursday.
The agreement enables US labs using Fortelinea's Prima lab tracking and management and Roche's automated staining system to utilize one barcode across both platforms, allowing standardized slide labeling and streamlining data transfer and integration with the laboratory information system.
The move is expected to improve workflow for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in-situ hybridization (ISH) testing in research laboratories, the companies said.
