Roche: strikes collaboration deal with US biotech firm
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss drugmaker Roche has entered into a license and collaboration agreement with US biotech firm Icagen for the treatment of neurological disorders.
Under the terms of the deal, Icagen will be responsible for pre-clinical activities, while Roche will be responsible for the program's further development and marketing.
Roche will make an upfront cash payment and provide research funding to Icagen, with Icagen being eligible to potentially receive payments of up to 274 million dollars and royalty payments should a drug be marketed.
