Roche: launches Avenio kits on market
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday morning Roche announced the global commercial launch of three new generation sequencing Avenio tumor tissue assay kits, under the names of tissue targeted kit, expanded kit and surveillance kit.
"The kits, which detect all four mutation classes in solid tumours, complement Roche's NGS ctDNA kits for oncology research," said the Swiss pharmaceutical company.
In addition, Roche reports that the Katherine Phase III study shows that Kadcyla reduces the risk of recurrent disease compared to Herceptin in patients with early HER2-positive breast cancer with residual disease after neo-adjuvant therapy.
