Roche: to present new data on multiple sclerosis drug
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche will present new data on immunotherapy Ocrevus in people with relapsing and primary progressive forms of multiple sclerosis at an upcoming congress, the Swiss drugmaker said on Tuesday.
At the Congress of the European Committee for the Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis in Berlin next week, the company will present fifteen abstracts on the drug, including five-year efficacy and safety data and post-hoc analyses of Phase III studies.
In particular, the company will unveil a new analysis of a Phase III study showing that Ocrevus treatment reduced upper limb disability progression similarly, with or without advanced overall disability, Roche said.
Ocrevus is now approved for the treatment of multiple sclerosis in 67 countries across North America, South America, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, along with Australia.
