Roche: partnership with US university to train technicians
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche is teaming up with the University of Indianapolis to train biomedical equipment technicians through the newly named "Roche Academy.

As Roche's customer base continues to grow, the demand for properly trained biomedical equipment technicians critical continues to increase, the Swiss pharma giant said.
Through the partnership, the University will recruit biology and chemistry students to join the academy, where they will complete a Roche-customised curriculum and summer internship focused on the skills necessary for employment at Roche.
The academy is expected to train a total of 20 to 25 biomedical equipment technicians for Roche annually, with the first class estimated to start employment at Roche in 2020.
