Roche: head of partnering leaves company
(CercleFinance.com) - Sophie Kornowski-Bonnet, head of Roche partnering and member of the executive committee since 2012, has decided to leave the company by accepting a new opportunity elsewhere, the Swiss drugmaker said on Friday.
Roche said Kornowski-Bonnet will pass on her responsibilities to James Sabry, who is currently head of partnering at Roche's biotech unit Genentech.
As the founder of Cytokinetics, a biopharmaceutical company in San Francisco, Mr Sabry will be based in Basel and will take on his new role on 1 August.
