Roche: R&D collaboration deal with French start-up Inotrem.
(CercleFinance.com) - Roche has signed a R&D collaboration agreement with French start-up biotech company Inotrem to develop a diagnostic test for sepsis, the companies said on Friday.
Under the terms of the deal, Roche and Inotrem will work together to develop an in vitro prototype assay for the diagnosis and outcome prediction of septic shock patients.
The companion test will be based on a plasma protein developed by Inotrem and Roche's Elecsys electrochemiluminescence platform.
It is Roche Diagnostics' first collaboration agreement with a start-up biotech company.
