Novartis: partnership with Global Heart Hub
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Novartis announced a partnership with the Global Heart Hub, a cardiovascular patient organization.
Together, both partners say they will launch a joint initiative, called the "Invisible Nation," to build a network that can bring about "systemic" change in the management of heart disease.
Novartis and the Global Heart Hub say the goal is to prevent many of the 15 million deaths each year from heart disease, many of which they say could be avoided.
Most countries are still far from the WHO target of reducing heart disease deaths by 25% by 2025, they say.
