Novartis: to present eye-drug data at upcoming congress
(CercleFinance.com) - Novartis will present positive findings from two Phase III trials about a potential new treatment for neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) at an upcoming congress next month, the Swiss biopharmaceutical company said on Wednesday.
The drugmaker will share the new data at the annual meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) in Honolulu, starting 29 April.
Data on a secondary endpoint examining the predictability of 12-week dosing for patients with nAMD treated with its brolucizumab antibody will be presented for the first time at the meeting, Novartis said.
