9% in Zurich today, continuing its momentum of the previous day, following upbeat comments from Bryan Garnier, which has reinstated its “buy” rating and has raised its fair value for the stock from 94 Swiss francs to 96 Swiss francs.
The broker highlights better-than-expected 2017 figures published by the group, which create a higher comparison basis for future growth, as well as Novartis' 2018 targets, which are deemed "reassuring".
Bryan Garnier also points out general comments made by the new CEO, which are largely focused on future margin growth, driven by innovation and productivity.
