The mobile research study will collect sensor-based data from physical tasks and symptoms via smartphones, without it being necessary for clinical visits.
The study, which was developed in partnership with Sage Bionetworks, uses a mobile application allowing participants to contribute from home or on the go.
Novartis - which has three approved medications in multiple sclerosis - also has additional investigational therapies in early and late development stages.
