Syngenta: sugar beet seeds business to be divested.
(CercleFinance.com) - Syngenta has entered into a sale agreement with Denmark's DLF Seeds for the divestment of its sugar beet seeds business ahead of merger with ChemChina.
The financial terms of the transaction - which is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2017 - were not disclosed.
Yesterday ChemChina completed the second settlement of its tender offers for Syngenta, now holding 94.7% of the Swiss company's shares.
ChemChina intends to de-list Syngenta shares from the SIX and to de-list the ADS from the NYSE.
