Lindt: shares up; Morgan Stanley says 'overweight'

(CercleFinance.com) - Shares in Lindt & Spruengli are up almost 3% today, with Morgan Stanley initiating its coverage of the stock with an "overweight" recommendation, citing premium "excellence.
"

"Rumours of the demise of chocolate are overdone," analysts at Morgan Stanley say.

"We estimate about 2% global growth and low regulatory risk, and expect trends to favour premium/specialty over mass/impulse," they add.

Morgan Stanley says it sees Lindt as "a relative winner".

The stock is currently up 2.7% on the Zurich Stock Exchange.
