Barry Callebaut: supply deal with Indonesia's Garudafood
(CercleFinance.com) - Barry Callebaut has said that it has signed a contract to supply chocolate to Garudafood, one of the largest food and beverage companies in Indonesia.
This second long-term agreement - after the partnership which began in June 2015 - includes the supply of another 7,000 tonnes of compound chocolate per year to Garudafood's biscuit factory in Rancaekek.
After the deal, Barry Callebaut will build a "plant in the plant" within Garudafood's facility in Rancaekek, representing an investment of about 2.8 million Swiss francs (2.4 million euros).
