Bombardier: new order in Île-de-France
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier Transport announced on Wednesday that it has received an order for nine two-level Regio 2N trains from SNCF Mobilités' (72 wagons) for Île-de-France Mobilités.
This exercise of options represents approximately 96 million euros, including indexing that is calculated according to the applicable principles, and is part of the contract signed with SNCF in 2010, which provides for the production of up to 860 trains for different regions.
With this order of 9 additional trainsets, a total of 134 Regio 2N will be deployed on the SNCF Transilien network on the R, N and D lines. The first trainsets were put commissioned on the R line at the end of last year.
