Bombardier: Q1 boosted by after-sales services
(CercleFinance.com) - Bombardier has reported higher Q1 results today, thanks to a strong performance in its after-sales service business and growth in its order book.
This morning the Canadian aircraft manufacturer reported adjusted EBITDA of 167 million dollars, up 36% y-o-y, driven by its cost reductions and sales of its Global 7500 aircraft.
The company - which says it delivered 21 business jets in Q1 - said it generated a record amount of revenue from its aftermarket business, which grew about 34% y-o-y.
Meanwhile, free cash flow from continuing operations was 173 million dollars, up 578 million dollars from a year ago and ahead of its guidance.
