Bombardier: receives firm order for 20 business jets
(CercleFinance.com) - A customer, who prefers to remain anonymous, has placed an order for 20 business jets manufactured by Bombardier for a total of 534 million (US) dollars (about 460 million euros), based on list prices, the Canadian group announced on Thursday.
This is the largest business jet order Bombardier has received this year.
The contract is for Challenger 3500 jets, a new business jet introduced this month that features a redesigned interior, with patented seating.
The new passenger areas feature new technologies, including the industry's first voice-activated cabin, wireless chargers throughout the cabin and unique 4K screens.
Designed with environmental responsibility in mind, the aircraft enables clients to furnish the cabin with environmentally friendly luxury materials.
The new Challenger 3500 business jet is expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2022.
