com) - Bombardier Transport announced that the LAX Integrated Express Solutions consortium (LINXS) has signed a contract with Los Angeles World Airports.
This contract covers the design, manufacture, financing, operation and maintenance of an automated shuttle system at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
This contract is worth approximately 4.9 billion US dollars (c. 4.2 billion euros).
Bombardier has won a contract worth approximately 219 million US dollars (c. 187 million euros). The group also has a 55% stake in the joint venture for its operation and maintenance, which has been awarded a contract worth 576 million US dollars (c. 490 million euros).
