BlackBerry: record quarterly software and services revenue
(CercleFinance.com) - Canada's BlackBerry has achieved record software and services revenue in the fourth quarter, and also generated positive cash flow from operations for the fiscal year.
The security software company - which is transitioning from the hardware business - reported non-GAAP operating income of 19 million dollars, with non-GAAP EPS of 0.05 dollar.
Total software and services revenue reached 218 million in the three months to 28 February.
BlackBerry said approximately 70% of revenues are recurrent, with approximately 3,500 corporate customer orders.
The group's full-year free cash flow reaches 47 million dollars.
These figures have sent the stock up over 5% in premarket trading on Wednesday.
