(CercleFinance.com) - Belgium's Umicore said on Monday that it has bought back 170,000 of its own shares, representing 0.
07% of its capital, at 50.98 euros each.
The transaction amounts to around 8.7 million euros.
So far this year, the maker of automotive catalysts and materials for rechargeable batteries has bought back a total of 1.96 million shares - or 0.80% of its share capital - at an average price of 49.67 euros.
The shares are currently trading down 0.4% at 50.9 euros.
