Cenergy: anti-dumping tax against Corinth Pipeworks
(CercleFinance.com) - Cenergy Holdings has announced that the US Department of Commerce (DoC) has applied a 22.
51% preliminary anti-dumping duty to its subsidiary Corinth Pipeworks, as well as other large-diameter welded tube exporters from Greece.
The Belgian holding company considers that the preliminary investigation will not have a significant impact on its full-year consolidated results, given that Greece is the only country accused of being a threat and not of proven material damage.
The company added that any duties paid until the final decision will be refunded, and that Corinth Pipeworks continues to cooperate with the DoC and its US clients, in anticipation of a final decision, which is expected in February 2019.
