AB InBev: withdraws 2020 outlook
(CercleFinance.com) - Anheuser-Busch InBev is withdrawing its 2020 outlook in its entirety due to the impact of COVID-19, the world's largest brewer said on Tuesday.
In a trading update, the brewing giant said that the scale and magnitude of the pandemic has escalated significantly, resulting in restrictions imposed on clients due to social distancing measures.
In particular, AB InBev pointed out the uncertainty, volatility and fast-moving developments of the pandemic in its markets.
The company said that it has now started to produce hand sanitizer and disinfectants, in addition to the bottling of emergency relief water.
