bpost: Barclays downgrades to 'equal weight'
(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays downgrades its recommendation on bpost to "equal weight" with an unchanged target price of 8.
5 euros, in a note on the Belgian postal operator and its Dutch peer PostNL (which it upgrades to "overweight").
The broker considers that "the risk to forecasts is to the upside in both cases," but it sees PostNL as "relatively better positioned to benefit from e-commerce growth in the short term".
Barclays continues to evaluate bpost over the long term but acknowledges short-term headwinds because of a less mature e-commerce market and limited clarity as to strategy and capital allocation policies.
