Ageas: completes sale of stake in Luxembourg insurer
(CercleFinance.com) - Belgian insurance group Ageas has completed the sale of its 33% stake in Luxembourg insurer Cardif Lux Vie to France's BNP Paribas for a total cash consideration of 152 million euros.
Ageas said that all necessary regulatory approvals have been obtained, and expects to generate a capital gain of 35 million euros from the sale.
