GBL: signs for acquisition of Webhelp group
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday evening Groupe Bruxelles Lambert announced its signature to acquire the French group Webhelp, a specialist in customer experience and business process outsourcing (BPO).
The Belgian investment company says that it plans to invest around 800 million euros for a stake of up to 61% within the acuisition vehicle.
The transaction is based on an enterprise value of around 2.4 billion euros for the entire group that operates in sales management and marketing services, GBL said.
Since the arrival of the American private equity giant KKR in 2015, Webhelp has doubled in size and targets 2019 sales of 1.5 billion euros,
The acquisition is set to close in Q4 2019.
