Agfa-Gevaert: share slides after disappointing 2022 results
(CercleFinance.com) - The Belgian group Agfa-Gevaert's share fell sharply on Wednesday, as the specialist in image technology presented results for the 2022 financial year that were significantly down.
At noon, the share was down about 6%, while the BEL 20 was just 0.6% underwater.
The group, formerly known for its photography business, reported adjusted operating profit that is down 9% at 94 million euros for last year, despite a 5.5% rise in revenue to over 1.85 billion euros.
2022 was a year of unprecedented economic and geopolitical instability, management said.
