Solvay: signs agreement with Bluebell
(CercleFinance.com) - In light of the company's accelerated initiatives, Solvay and Bluebell have reached an agreement to terminate Bluebell's One-Share Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) campaign regarding Solvay.
Solvay announced plans to significantly reduce the discharge of limestone residues in Italy, as well as a long-term goal to invest in a new soda ash production process for global adoption. This new process should enable Solvay to further reduce its CO2 emissions and reduce all limestone waste to zero by 2050.
Bluebell expressed its appreciation for Solvay's plans, which are in line with the Group's One Planet roadmap, and for the active engagement with Solvay's management that has led to this positive outcome.
