Solvay: launches new growth platform
(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay announces the launch of a fourth growth platform, focused on renewable raw materials and biotechnology, for the development of innovative and sustainable solutions in different markets.
The new platform will bring together some of Solvay's businesses to increase the proportion of renewable carbon in its product offering and to develop new business opportunities through biotechnology.
It adds to the three growth platforms that have already been set up by the Belgian chemical group, respectively dealing with battery materials, green hydrogen and thermoplastic composites.
