AMS: net profit of E102m in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - The technology group revenue reached 1,246 million euros in Q1, up 1% sequentially from Q4 2021 and down 3% y-o-y.
Meanwhile, its adjusted gross margin was 33%, unchanged from Q4 and down from 35% in Q1 2021. EBIT came in at 126 million euros, or 10% of revenue, compared to 118 million euros or 10% in Q4 and 143 million euros or 11% of revenue in Q1 2021.
Net income reached 102 million euros, compared to 119 million euros in Q4 and 74 million euros in Q1 2021 (unadjusted: 15 million euros for Q1). Diluted EPS was 0.39 euros (0.06 euro unadjusted).
AMS OSRAM expects Q2 2022 sales of 1,150 to 1,250 million euros (1,180 to 1,280 million euros on a comparable portfolio basis) and an adjusted EBIT margin of 8% to 11%.
