OMV: further development of Gazprom partnership.
(CercleFinance.com) - Austrian oil and gas group OMV said it has signed documents on the further development of its strategic partnership with Russian giant Gazprom.
At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding so as to coordinate the gas transmission infrastructure required for providing natural gas supplies to Central and Southeast Europe.
OMV is Gazprom's main partner in Austria, with Gazprom exporting 6.1 billion cubic metres of gas.
Both companies also signed a framework agreement in the small-scale LNG sector, intending to cooperate in a joint integrated project for a production terminal on the Black Sea coast.
