Schlumberger: contract for Turkish Sakarya gas field
(CercleFinance.com) - Schlumberger today announced that it has been awarded a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of end-to-end production solutions for the Sakarya gas field, the largest gas reserve in Turkey.
The contract was awarded by Turkish Petroleum (TP) to Schlumberger and Subsea 7, as part of a consortium.
Schlumberger will design and engineer the well and construct and commission the initial production facility to process up to 350 MMscfd (350 million standard cubic feet) of gas per day.
To date, the Sakarya gas field is the largest gas reserve ever discovered in Turkey.
