Netflix: Chief Financial Officer to step down
(CercleFinance.com) - Netflix said on Monday that its Chief Financial Officer David Wells will step down from his role after a successor has been found.
Wells, who joined Netflix in 2004 and has served as CFO since 2010, managed our finances during a phase of dramatic growth, over which the company's share price multiplied ten-fold.
In a press release, Wells said he intended to focus more on philanthropy.
The search for a new CFO will include both internal and external candidates, Netflix said.
Shares in Netflix were down 0.5% at 344.1 dollars on Monday morning.
