Dropbox: sets IPO price at 21 dollars
(CercleFinance.com) - Dropbox has set its initial public offering (IPO) price at 21 dollars for its market debut later today, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The San Francisco-based file hosting service is selling 26.8 million shares in the offering, while 9.2 million shares will be offered by stockholders.
In addition, Dropbox has granted underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to 5.4 million additional shares.
Dropbox intends to list its shares on the Nasdaq under the symbol "DBX" and listed Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan as joint lead bookrunning managers to its offering.
