Visa: Q3 beats consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday night Visa reported adjusted net income that is up 11% at 3.
1 billion dollars for its third accounting quarter.
At 1.37 dollar, corresponding EPS was six cents higher than the consensus.

The payment solutions group's revenue rose by 11% to 5.8 billion doillars, with a 9% increase in payment volumes, a 12% rise in transactions processed and a 7% increase in cross-border volumes.

Visa had an excellent third quarter in terms of accelerating its sales growth, while advancing in its strategy via acquisitions, investments and partnerships, CEO Alfred Kelly said.
