Target: quarterly dividend up 20%

(CercleFinance.com) - Despite its recent profit warning, Target says that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 1.
08 dollar per share, up 20% over the previous quarterly dividend.

The dividend will be paid from 10 September to shareholders on record on 17 August. With this increase, 2022 will be the 51st consecutive year of annual dividend increases for the low-cost retailer.

For the record, on Tuesday Target announced that it was lowering its operating margin guidance to around 2% for Q2, expecting around 6% for H2.
