Pfizer: drug discovery deal with US biotech firm Arvinas

(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer has forged a research collaboration with Arvinas, for which the New Haven, Connecticut-based biotech firm could receive up to 830 million dollars from the pharma giant.


The research collaboration and license agreement concerns the development of drug candidates using Arvinas' proprietary technology based on small molecule therapeutics aimed at degrading disease-causing cellular proteins.

Under the terms of the agreement, Arvinas may receive up to 830 million dollars in upfront and potential development and marketing milestone payments upon achieving certain clinical and commercial milestones.

In addition, Arvinas may also be entitled to receive royalties based on product sales.
