JCPenney: chairman and CEO resigns

(CercleFinance.com) - JCPenney today announces the resignation of its Chairman and CEO, Marvin Ellison.


He will be replaced as chairman of the board by Ronald W Tysoe, and by an office of the directorate general for day-to-day management before the appointment of a new CEO.

Marvin Ellison is leaving the JCPenney supermarket chain to join Lowe's, a retail chain specialising in building and gardening equipment. He will also take on the role of Chairman-CEO.
