Paypal: net revenue up 7% to $6.5bn

(CercleFinance.com) - Paypal has just released its Q1 2022 results and is pleased with better-than-expected revenues.


Total payment volume (TPV) was 323.0 billion dollars, representing growth of 13% and 15% on a currency neutral (FXN) basis.

Net revenue is 6.5 billion, up 7% and 8% on a FXN basis; excluding eBay, revenue was up 15%.

GAAP EPS was $0.43 (Q1 2021: $0.92), and non-GAAP EPS was $0.88 (Q1 2021: $1.22).

FY revenue is expected to grow 11% to 13%, with TPV expected to exceed 1.4 trillion dollars.

Net revenues are expected to grow by 11% to 13% on a spot and FXN basis; excluding eBay, revenues are expected to grow 15% to 17%.



The company continues to outperform e-commerce, it said.
