Nvidia: Q1 net profit more than doubles

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Nvidia reported Q1 adjusted net income (non-GAAP) that more than doubled to 2.
31 billion dollars, or 3.66 dollars per share, significantly above the consensus.

The programmable graphics processor supplier reported an 84% leap in revenue to 5.66 billion dollars and also benefited from a 40-bp improvement in its adjusted gross margin to 66.2%.

For Q2, Nvidia said it expects revenue of 6.30 billion dollars, give or take 2%, and an adjusted gross margin of 66.5%, give or take 50 bp.
