Mondelez: raises FY outlook
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Mondelez raised its 2022 outlook now expecting organic sales growth to at least 10% (from at least 8% previously), with adjusted EPS growth at constant exchange rates of at least 10% (from mid- to high-single digit growth previously).
For Q3, the food group - which owns brands such as Milka, LU and Cadbury - reported adjusted EPS of $0.74, up 15.7% at constant exchange rates, despite an adjusted operating margin that is down 1.1 point at 16.1%.
Revenues rose 8.1% to 7.76 billion dollars, driven by organic growth of 12.1% (mainly thanks to price increases) and the acquisitions of Clif Bar and Chipita, while partially offset by negative currency movements.
