Microsoft: arrival of AI boosts Bing's audience

(CercleFinance.com) - A month after launching new artificial intelligence features on its online search engine, Microsoft announced on Wednesday that Bing had passed the 100 million daily active users (DAU) mark.


This is a surprisingly remarkable number, although we remain fully aware that we remain a small player with a single-digit market share, Microsoft reacted.

That said, it feels good to be invited to the ball, it added.

In a post on the company's blog, Yusuf Mehdi points out that about a third of the total number of Bing users are newcomers to the platform.

It adds that this success confirms Microsoft's approach to reinventing the online search experience by combining search results, answers, interactive chat and creativity.
