Microsoft: strategic partnership with BP

(CercleFinance.com) - BP and Microsoft announce a strategic partnership agreement to "further digital transformation in energy systems and advance the net zero carbon goals of both companies".


The agreement includes "a co-innovation effort focused on digital solutions, the continued use of Microsoft Azure as a cloud-based solution for bp infrastructure".

The strategic partnership also includes the supply of renewable energy by BP to help the US IT giant meet its 2025 renewable energy targets.
