McDonald's: Q2 adjusted EPS down 6%

(CercleFinance.com) - McDonald's has reported Q2 2024 EPS (adjusted for exceptional charges) of $2.
97, down 6% (-5% at constant exchange rates) on flat revenues of $6.49bn (+1% excluding currency effects).

However, the fast-food chain's worldwide sales fell 1% LFL, due to negative trends in all sectors, including the US, where they fell 0.7%.

McDonald's points out, however, that its system-wide sales to loyalty program members in the 50 markets concerned exceeded $26bn y-o-y, reaching around $7bn in the quarter.
