Marriott: Q4 EPS better than expected

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Marriott International announced adjusted net profit that is up 4% at 517 million dollars for Q4 2019, representing EPS of 1.
57 dollars, exceeding the the consensus by some ten cents.

Comparable global RevPar (revenue per available room) of the hotel chain increased by 1.1% at a constant dollar, with growth of 0.9% in North America and 1.5% in the rest of the world.

Reporting FY 2019 adjusted EPS of exactly six dollars, higher than its target range of 5.87-5.90 dollars, as provided three months ago, Marriott says that it expects 6.30 to 6.53 dollars for 2020.
