Lockheed Martin: F-35s take off in 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - As we look back on 2021, Lockheed Martin is pleased with the international success of its F-35, with two new countries - Switzerland and Finland - opting for the 5th generation multi-role aircraft.


In the past year, Lockheed Martin has delivered a total of 142 F-35 aircraft.

The US Marine Corps and Royal Air Force F-35Bs alone have flown nearly 1,300 sorties, logged more than 2,200 hours and flown 44 combat missions.

With over 750 aircraft operating from 30 bases and ships around the world, the F-35 plays a critical role in the integrated deterrence of the United States and its allies, Lockheed Martin said.
