Eli Lilly: new FDA approval for Cyramza

(CercleFinance.com) - Eli Lilly announced on Friday that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved its anti-antigenic antibody, Cyramza, for the first-line treatment of metastatic non-small cell cancer.


The approval of the drug, in combination with Roche's erlotinib, addresses forms of the disease with EGFR abnormality, including the associated L858R mutation.

Thanks to this approval, Cyramza now has six FDA approvals, including approval for liver and stomach cancers.
