Home Depot: Q2 EPS up 27%

3 billion dollars, with EPS up 26.8% at 4.02 dollars, on revenues that rose 23.4% on a comparable basis to 38.1 billion dollars.
"The investments we have made across the business have significantly increased our agility, allowing us to respond quickly to changes while continuing to promote a safe operating environment," said company boss Craig Menear.
In addition, the home improvement chain's board of directors announced a dividend of 1.50 dollar per share for the past quarter, which will be paid on 17 September to shareholders on record on 3 September.
