HPE: Q1 adjusted EPS in line with estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) reported Q1 2019-20 adjusted EPS that is up 5% at 44 cents, in line with the consensus, and in the middle of its own target range of 42 cents to 46 cents.


The group saw its adjusted gross margin increase by 2.1 points to 33.2%, for sales that are down 8% to 6.9 billion dollars (-7% at constant exchange rates), penalised by market uncertainties, as well as supply and production constraints.

The IT group maintains its forecasts for fiscal year 2019-20, including adjusted EPS of between 1.78 dollar and 1.94 dollar, although has revised its free cash flow forecast range to 1.6 billion to 1.8 billion dollars to take into account current disruptions in its supply chain.
